China Road and Bridge Corporation (CRBC)

China Road and Bridge Corporation in May hosted President Uhuru Kenyatta at a railway construction in Voi to inspect SGR project progress. PMS Group worked with the Presidential Strategic Communications Unit (PSCU) in drafting the President’s speech with key messages focusing on the importance of the new railway to Kenya as well as residents of counties where the railway will pass through. PMS Group Ltd as the communication agency was tasked with the following:
• Writing and circulating press release to media
• Media Invitations and mobilisation (making follow up calls to ensure editors assigned reporters and photographers for the event)
• Logistics for journalists
• Coordination of media interviews
• Lobbying for media coverage
